Your initial osteopathic treatment will be up to 1 hour long. Together you and the osteopath will discuss the reason for your visit and your case history. Following this the Osteopath will conduct an osteopathic examination and then provide the osteopathic treatment. See What is Osteopathy for more details.
Please arrive 10 minutes early for your first appointment so you can complete paper work.
You do not need a referral to see an Osteopath, however if you have any x-rays or medical reports it may be helpful to bring these along.
Further treatments are scheduled for 30 minutes each.
Osteopathy Fees at Bendigo Osteo
Initial Osteopathic treatment $100 ($90 concession)
Ongoing Osteopathic treatment $80 ($75 concession)
Concession rates are available to health care card and pension card holders.
Appointments made outside normal working hours (Mon- Fri 9:00-5:29) will incur an extra $5 afterhours fee.
If you have a chronic illness your GP can register you on an Enhanced Primary Care Program. You could receive up to five Osteopathic appointments per year which are reimbursed by Medicare.
At Bendigo Osteo your massage appointment will begin with a brief case history, followed by a massage.
If you are a new patient please arrive 10 minutes early to complete some paperwork.
Please wear comfortable clothing for your massage.
Bendigo Osteo offers affordable remedial (deep tissue) or relaxation massages.
1 hour massage $85 ($80 concession)
1/2 hour massage $65 ($60 concession)
Melinda and Julie are registered health care providers therefore health care rebates can be claimed (depending on the level of your health fund policy)

Jodi is a registered Massage Therapist. Please note you cannot claim health cover for Jodi hence the discounted rate.
Jodi also offers 90min massages. 90 minutes allows for a full body massage with firmer treatment at targeted areas.
Gift vouchers are available for massages. So Call us and we can post one out.
A HICAPS facility is available so you can make fast on the spot health insurance claims for clients with extras.
We also accept Cash, Visa and MasterCard, American Express.
We cover TAC*, Workcover* and Veteran Affairs.
*If you are on TAC or Workcover, appointments must be paid upfront. We provide you with the required paperwork, which you need to take back to TAC or Workcover whom provide you with reimbursement.
Cancelling or missed appointments:
Our clinic is very busy! We have waiting lists and patients call in for urgent appointments. If you need to change or cancel your appointment time you must provide 24 hours notice. You will be consequently charged a $25 booking fee if not. Bendigo Osteo will send you a reminder text of your up and coming appointment.
