Enhanced Primary Care Plans
What is an Enhanced Primary Care Plan?
An Enhanced Primary Care Plan (EPC) is a referral from your General Practitioner put in place to assist in the management of your chronic medical condition. The plan facilitates a multidisciplinary approach to your health care. It means you have a team of health professionals assisting you. Your GP and one-two other allied health professionals, eg: Osteopath. The allied health services listed on your plan are partially covered under Medicare, meaning you receive a rebate for the cost of your osteopathic treatment.
All patients with an EPC Plan are charged as per the fee structure below. The medicare rebate on each appointment is $60.30. You are required to pay the full fee on the day of service.
Please bring your medicare card and a debit card to allow us to process your rebate directly to your account on the day.
